Frequently asked questions

Does this work on scanned (image-only) PDFs?

Only if the text is already selectable/searchable — run OCR first (see our OCR tool) if it's a plain image scan.

What if my text never appears again after the first page?

You'll see a message and the whole document is kept as one file, since no split points were found.
